Wayqecha is Amazon Conservation's field station located in the Kosñipata Valley in the department of Cusco, Peru. It's 3,000 meters above sea level in the cloud forest on the eastern slopes of the Andes above the Amazon lowlands.
Mornings in the valley can be clear before clouds roll in around midday.
